Beautiful Poem!
I found a BEAUTIFUL poem the other day whilst 'skiing the Net'. It's called the Teak Forest by Laurence Hope, and it is very, very good and rather sad in places. It's far too long to post all of it here, but this was my favourite bit:
For this is Wisdom; to love, to live,
To take what Fate, or the Gods, may give,
To ask no question, to make no prayer,
To kiss the lips and caress the hair,
Speed passion's ebb as you greet its flow,--
To have,--to hold,--and,--in time,--let go!
How awesome is that? Perfect, just perfect. Really made my day that did.
On another note: GAHH! German oral tomorrow and I had NO IDEA!! *zooms off to learn presentation*
