The Signs of Christmas
I reckon there are a few tell tale signs that it's well and truly the season to be jolly. Enjoy!
1) Suddenly, for no inexplicable reason, it's dark when I come out of school. And in the morning, on my skippity hoppity walk to school, I can observe the sun rising in a flurry of pink clouds. It's weird, but I like it.
2) The Sun's so low in the sky on the school run that you get blinded at every corner.
3) DFS sale. But then again, when is there *not* a DFS sale?
4) Coca Cola adverts! Holidays are comin', holidays are comin', holidays are comin' (it's always the real thing)...
5) Chocolate EVERYWHERE, and lots of things in fancy boxes.
6) Your friends get giggly and whisper to each other about gifts. And for some reason, everyone's asking you who your favourite Doctor is, and whether Tom Baker's still alive.
7) Countdown begins on the Doctor Who Website...^-^
8) There are little bits of sticky tape all over your floor from wrapping presents which attach themselves to your socks even when you don't tread on them.
9) It's BLURRY COLD.
10) Special feeling of Christmas cheer that makes you love everyone (especially when you suspect they have bought you something TARDIS-related).
